Ranks are used to create a chain of command and keep discipline and order in the files of troops, ranks display leadership and experience.
E-1.) Private (PV1) - A trainee who's starting Basic Combat Training (BCT). Primary role is to carry out orders issued to them to the best of his/her ability

- E-2.) Private (PV2) - A trainee who's completed BCT and is now moving onto Advanced individual Training (AIT).
Requirements:
- Completed BCT
- Can recite ranks E-1 to E-6
- Can recite Army Values

- E-3.) Private First Class (PFC) - A Soldier who's completed BCT & AIT.
Requirements:
- Completed AIT OR BCT as Honor Recruit
- Can recite ranks E-1 to E-6
- Can recite Army Values

- E-4.) Specialist (SPC) - Can manage other soldiers. Can enter BCT as Specialist if in High school.
Requirements:
- Can recite the Soldiers Creed
- Can recite ranks E-1 to E-6
- Can recite Army Values
- Complete Survivial Training

- E-4.) Corporal (CPL) - The base of the Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) ranks, CPLs serve as team leader of the smallest Army units.
Requirements:
- Completed Warriors Leaders Course
- Can recite the Soldiers Creed
- Can recite Army Values
- Can recite ranks E-1 to E-6
- Warrior Leader Course

- E-5.) Sergeant (SGT) - Typically commands a squad (9 to 10 Soldiers). Considered to have the greatest impact on Soldiers because SGTs oversee them in their daily tasks. In short, SGTs set an example and the standard for Privates to look up to, and live up to.
Requirements:
- Can recite the Soldiers Creed
- Can recite the Army Values
- Can recite ranks E-1 to E-6

- E-6.) Staff Sergeant (SSG) - Also commands a squad (9 to 10 Soldiers). Often has one or more SGTs under their leadership. Responsible for developing, maintaining and utilizing the full range of his Soldiers' potential.
